I've been privy to a number of gut busters in southern Ontario, but this place takes the cake. In and around the Tors Cove/Bay Bulls area of Newfoundland are some amazing roads with climbs that appear around every corner. Was up early for a quick ride before the day began.
A little on the chilly side this morning. Started the day with a climb that I thought would never end and if that weren't enough the random collection of dogs were up bright and early to hunt my rear wheel down! The surprise attacks from the dogs reminded me of the fans along the route of any major tour climb, except these ones had bigger teeth and seemed to run faster with more stamina.
A few shots to give you a taste.
Driving Matt out to Cape Spear possibly this afternoon and with work to keep me busy during the down time, the week continues.
