I once met Jack Layton. I was travelling across Canada a while back and happened to have a stop in Ottawa, upon bellying up to a local bar on Bank St. I was distracted by some noise bellowing in from the patio. Turns out it was jack Layton doing an impromptu blazer swinging jig on a bench allowing all who surrounded him a moment of laughter.
