Incase I haven't informed ya'll, I love to cycle. Work, smoke, drink all week and air it out on the roads of Ontario come the weekend. I know my Pro dreams were crushed a long time ago but that's no reason to stop riding.
This past weekend after completing a workload thick enough to hide Kirsty Alley, I decided to preview a bit of the route that I will be taking up north next week. If it's hills you crave this is the place! The weather was top notch with a 99% chance of thrilling downhills reaching top speeds of 75+ kph, met with climbs that doubled the descents.
Along the way I learned a valuable lesson; always prescreen your trail mix... on this day I didn't, which resulted in dried fruit fondue.
Have to send a big shout out to Earl at the gas station just outside Kettleby, still having a hard time agreeing that drinking whiskey is a good hydration method.
