Christmas Crunch time

No sleep till Brooklyn!!! If only Christmas were as enjoyable as my last trip to Brooklyn... This is the way it unfolds for me every year. Work up until the buzzer, take a few moments to say hello to family and a few bottles of wine and back to the grind.

I know I shouldn't complain because I have a job, some aren't so lucky..............Fuck the luck! Those who succeed do so because they work hard and work hard is what I do.

Nope I haven't thought of shopping for gifts, lady-friend, nieces and nephew etc. and don't forget to get yourself something nice... This year I hope to treat myself to sleep followed by a slow morning where my only concern is if the pillows under my heavy head need fluffing for the next round of shut eye. I'm not saying I am a grinch, I'm just taking my time getting into the holiday spirit so that when it abandons me again I will miss it more.

What's your dream christmas? Mine this year involves pizza ordered in for Christmas eve dinner and a wake up call with bacon beckoning me to the table. If I happen to get dressed before the morning festivities then great but I won't make a point of it. If you can't be yourself with family then you might just be in line for a midlife crisis.
Song of the day.
